TITEL: WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE
Das neue Albums von John Fogerty ist in den USA am 28. Mai 2013 erschienen, in Deutschland wurde das Album bereits am 24.5.2013 ausgeliefert.
Der 28. Mai hat symbolischen Charakter: Am 28.5. war John's 68. Geburtstag und 1968, vor 45 Jahren, wurde das erste Album von Creedence Clearwater Revival veröffentlicht.
Der ehemalige Frontmann der Band Creedence Clearwater Revival nahm Klassiker wie "Proud Mary" und "Fortunate Son" mit verschiedensten Künstlern wie den Foo Fighters, My Morning Jacket, Bob Seger, Jennifer Hudson, Brad Paisley, Kid Rock u.a. auf. Kommentar John Fogerty: "Keine dieser Aufnahmen wurde einfach zusammengeschnitten. Ich war mit jedem einzelnen dieser Künstler im Studio. Ich hätte es auf keine andere Weise gemacht."
Es soll in diesem Jahr auch eine Tournee zum Album geben.
